Arizona Chill Fest, April 30 – May 3, 2026

CATS invites you to a “chill fest” gathering where you can do as little as you want or as much as you can handle.

Friday Group Event @ PopStroke Glendale | Eat. Putt. Drink. Mini Golf, Full-Service Restaurant, Ice Cream Parlor, Rooftop Bar and more!

Saturday Afternoon we’ll head to Glendale – Chicken N Pickle, an indoor/outdoor entertainment complex that includes a casual, chef-driven restaurant and sports bar that boasts pickleball courts, a variety of yard games (think cornhole, ping pong and more) and enough space to kick back and relax with your favorite peeps.

Saturday Night: BBQ / location TBD

 Come join the Tall Club for a fun afternoon with your Tall friends and maybe make some new friends while enjoying some good food at are annual picnic, a toast to our TCI. Founder Kae Sumner Einfeldt, followed by the election of club officers and games.

From I-75, exit Pines Blvd east to Flamingo Road north, park entrance on left, approximately 3 miles from I-75 to park en-trance
From turnpike or I-95, exit Hollywood Blvd west to Flamingo Road north, park entrance on left, approximately 8 mi. from Tpk, 10 mi. from I-95
Park entrance fee $1.50 per person, 5 years old and under free
To get to Pavilion 5, turn left after passing through entrance fee station, continue until you cross the bridge, turn right into the next parking area, Pavilion 5 is the second pavilion on the right
Cost for picnic: $5 per person

*Picnic free to paid members. Also free to qualified pro-spects (ladies 5 ft 10 inches or taller, males 6 ft 2 inches or taller, at least 21 years old) if this is the first TCOM event they attend. All others will pay $5 per person. 
Picnic lunch included (hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, fixins, desserts), drinks (water, soda) included, however BYOB (beer or wine only, no glass containers). NOTE MENU MAY CHANGE.
TCI Toast will be at 1PM Sharp
Elections will be held at 2PM sharp
Activities available include:
• Games (we will bring Catch Phrase, maybe some more)
• Volleyball (sand court adjacent to our shelter)
• Bike/skating/jogging/walking path (bring your own)
Qualifies as a "Work Event" for membership purposes

Alabama Jacks is a casual roadside spot that offers a lively and relaxed atmosphere. Located on the water with a view of the mangroves, it’s a place where visitors can enjoy a laid-back vibe and hearty dishes like conch fritters. The food is surprisingly good, with large portions that are perfect for sharing or filling up. The conch fritter plate comes with two sides, such as scrumptious potato salad and delicious macaroni salad, both feeling homemade. The conch chowder is also popular among guests.
